The Chisinau city mini-football championship took place with the support of the Football Federation of Moldova and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Out of 32 teams from the municipality and nearby communities, the SemSeo team proved unbeatable.
Our team won all seven matches and, playing beautiful and spectacular football, claimed the main prize of the tournament. According to the rules, the 32 teams were divided into 8 groups of 4. SEO experts landed in Group “C” with “ProPlus,” “Fortuna,” and “Odnoklassniki.” In the first group match, SemSeo crushed ProPlus 16–2.
The second game also ended in a landslide victory, 10–1 against “Fortuna,” securing first place with one round to spare. The last group match with “Odnoklassniki” had no tournament significance, but the opponents fought hard. Final score – 7–6 for SemSeo.
With three group wins and maximum points, Adrian Sirbu’s team advanced to the round of 16 as the top team, also becoming the most prolific offense with 33 goals scored in three matches.
In the playoffs, SemSeo faced “Pojar United.” After 10 minutes the score was 1–1, but then our side pulled away for a 6–3 victory. Alexander Tsymbalist scored a hat-trick, Viorel Gaibu added two goals, and Oleg Gojan netted one.
In the quarterfinal, SemSeo met “Rapid,” a strong side with players experienced in Division A and even the National Division. But they collapsed psychologically, and SemSeo routed them 8–1.
In the semifinal, the opponent was “Fulger.” After opening the scoring, SemSeo fell behind 1–2 at halftime. In the second half, however, SemSeo regained control and won 6–2.
The final was against the village team “Gidigici.” They opened the scoring and twice closed the gap, but SemSeo prevailed 6–3, with goalkeeper Alexandru Servan shining and Sergiu Munteanu netting a hat-trick.
Winning all seven matches, six of them by large margins, SemSeo lifted its first sports trophy, proving that we can be the best not only in SEO services and web promotion, but also on the football field.
