During the SMX Advanced conference, Google’s Gary Illyes announced that the Panda algorithm would be updated in the next two to three weeks, most likely in June. But it is known for sure that the update will happen quite soon.

Google will update its Panda algorithm in the next 2-3 weeks. As Gary said, most likely the algorithm itself will not undergo major changes, perhaps some data will be updated.
For example, sites that suffered from Panda may soon notice some improvements. But this is not the main thing – as a result of the update, sites can either improve their positions in search results or lose them.
Gary also noted that Google is interested in receiving the most up-to-date information, so the algorithm will be updated as often as possible. Unlike other algorithms, the Panda update process is not automated.
Google is going to update the Panda algorithm soon. This was announced by John Mueller (Google) in a video conference held for webmasters in Germany, and later the information was confirmed in English.
“I think it’s going to be this week or next week. Either way, the algorithm update is coming pretty soon.”
You can listen to John’s response to English-speaking webmasters in the video below, starting at 24 minutes and 15 seconds:
In June, Gary Illyes said that a new Panda update would happen within 2-3 weeks, but it hasn’t happened yet.
