Google AdSense has introduced 5 new ad sizes for publishers in Russia, as well as in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and the Scandinavian countries:
• 240 x 400 (vertical rectangle);
• 250 x 360 (triple widescreen ad);
• 580 x 400 (Netboard);
• 930 x 120 (top banner);
• 980 x 120 (panorama).
According to the service’s blog, when display ads are enabled in these blocks, smaller-sized ads may sometimes appear in them. In the future, the number of display ads available in the new sizes will increase. In addition, the list of ad sizes available to publishers will be expanded.
AdSense reminds that publishers can place a maximum of three ad blocks on a page, and the 580 x 400 or 300 x 600 size can only be used once.
